Comments

The biography of Woodbridge G. Osborne states that John Osborne-11635 had three children by his first wife Abigail Smith and fourteen children by his second wife Mary Frost. Eliza Osborne-11638 and Abigail Osborne-11639 were married in Lee, NH at a time when there were no Osborne families in Lee other than the family of John Osborne-11635, so are surmised to be daughters of John Osborne-11635 by his first wife Abigail Smith. John Osborne-11635's son Woodbridge C. Osborne-11641 lived in Portland, ME in the immediate vicinity of John B. Osborne-11648. The biography of Woodbridge G. Osborne refers to John Osborne-11635 as "John B.", so I believe that John B. Osborne-11648 is also a son of John Osborne-11635 and based on John B. Osborne-11648's approximate birth year of 1795, would be by John Osborne-11635's first wife Abigail Smith.

On 27 Mary 1821 George F. Osborn of Palmyra, Somerset Co., ME sold a tract of land to John Osborn of Lee, Stafford<sic> Co., NH (Somerset Co., ME Deed Book 11/273). Given that the 1850 Census of Penobscot Co., ME shows that George F. Osborne was born about 1797, he must be a son of John Osborne-11635. (Note, the 1850 census shows George F.'s birthplace as ME, but the 1860 census shows it as NH.)

William G. Osborne-11663 is enumerated together with Jerry Jackson (as "Jeremiah") in the 1850 Strafford Co., NH census. William G.'s death is recorded in Gorham, ME where his brother Charles F. Osborne-11640's death is also recorded.

This leaves 9 children by John Osborne-11635's second wife Mary Frost to find.
